Last updated: April 20, 2026

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FirmHook, including our dashboard, APIs, SDKs, documentation, webhook delivery infrastructure, routing tools, retry tools, observability features, and related services. By creating an account, using the service, or accessing FirmHook on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms.

02

Accounts and organization authority

  • You must provide accurate account, billing, and organization information and keep it current.
  • If you use FirmHook for a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, API keys, organization workspaces, invited users, and configured endpoints.
  • You must protect passwords, session access, webhook secrets, signing keys, API keys, and other credentials from unauthorized use.

03

Permitted use

  • You may use FirmHook to receive, transform, route, monitor, replay, and deliver webhooks and related event data for lawful business and development purposes.
  • You must comply with all laws, regulations, third-party platform rules, and contractual obligations that apply to your event sources, destinations, and data subjects.
  • You are responsible for obtaining all rights, consents, notices, and permissions needed to send event data to FirmHook and to downstream destinations.

04

Prohibited use

  • You may not use FirmHook to send malware, spam, phishing content, credential harvesting payloads, harmful code, or unlawful material.
  • You may not overload, disrupt, scan, reverse engineer, bypass limits, or interfere with FirmHook systems or other customers' workspaces.
  • You may not use FirmHook to process highly sensitive data unless your plan and a written agreement with us expressly allow it.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or provide FirmHook as a managed service to third parties unless we agree in writing.

05

Customer data and webhook content

You retain ownership of the webhook payloads, metadata, endpoint configuration, routing rules, transformations, logs, and other content you submit to FirmHook. You grant FirmHook the limited rights needed to host, secure, process, transmit, troubleshoot, back up, and improve the service for you and your authorized users.

06

Security responsibilities

  • FirmHook provides security features such as signing secret support, delivery logs, access controls, and operational monitoring, but you are responsible for configuring them appropriately.
  • You should rotate exposed credentials, use least-privilege access, verify webhook signatures, and restrict endpoint access where possible.
  • You must promptly notify us if you discover unauthorized account access, exposed secrets, suspicious delivery activity, or a security issue involving FirmHook.

07

Service availability and changes

We work to keep FirmHook reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or product improvement. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid customers.

08

Plans, billing, and usage limits

  • Paid plans are billed according to the pricing, billing period, usage limits, and overage terms shown at checkout or in your plan settings.
  • Usage limits may include event volume, delivery attempts, retention windows, seats, organizations, endpoints, transformations, routing rules, API calls, or other metered features.
  • You authorize us and our payment processors to charge applicable subscription fees, taxes, overages, renewals, and plan changes using your selected payment method.
  • Failure to pay may result in downgraded access, disabled features, suspended delivery, or account termination after reasonable notice where practical.

09

Third-party services

FirmHook may integrate with third-party event sources, cloud providers, analytics tools, payment processors, communication tools, or destination endpoints. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their data practices, or changes they make to their APIs or terms.

10

Intellectual property

FirmHook and its software, design, branding, documentation, workflows, and service technology are owned by FirmHook or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of FirmHook intellectual property to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

11

Termination

  • You may stop using FirmHook at any time and may cancel paid subscriptions through your account or by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security risk, misuse the service, fail to pay, or use FirmHook in a way that could harm us, customers, or third parties.
  • After termination, we may delete or de-identify account data according to our retention practices, legal obligations, and backup schedules.

12

Disclaimers and liability limits

FirmHook is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FirmHook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or downstream delivery failures.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service, email, or another reasonable channel. Continued use of FirmHook after an update means you accept the revised terms.
